The Express Entry Program is a Canadian economic immigration program that chooses qualified individuals who can contribute to the Canadian economy.

The administration of Canada and Citizenship and Immigration Canada oversee this program (CIC). It was introduced in January 2015, and it replaced the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class, and the Provincial Nominee Programs.

It is made up of two primary parts: The first component is an Expression of Interest (EOI), in which candidates must submit a profile that matches the qualifying criteria for one or more vocations. They may also include their spouse or common-law partner, as well as any accompanying dependent children. The second component is a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which rates individuals based on variables such as age, education, language abilities, job experience, and so on.

The CRS scores are used to generate an Orderly Immigration Process Table (OIPT), which includes all qualified candidates in order of their scores.

The goal of the program is to make it easier for skilled immigrants to obtain permanent residence in Canada, while also retaining control over the number of people coming into the country.
